It lights my life when it comes on the radiobox. Im also a fan of JLS, but I was told by a pretty reliable source that they're called that ''because they can't spell jealous'' Can anyone confirm or deny this for me?

Fair points well made, but at the end of the day, it's all down to personal taste isn't it? Except when it comes to things like Cher Lloyd; that is just shit.

To describe the Suck it and See as a "lazy" album is very unfair. You talk about catchy tunes, exactly what was the aim of tracks such as Fluorescent Adolescent and Teddy Picker? Two examples of awful Arctic Monkeys tracks. It is fair to say the first album is of groundbreaking proportions, but ttimes change and things develop. Alex Turner himself said; "We don't get bigger, we get better" which in my opinion comes to be illustrated by Suck it and See. Tracks such as Reckless Serenade and That's where you're Wrong serve as examples of evolution, a coming together of the first three albums, with new input. No other band is like the Artic Monkeys around today, in a world of generic nonsense they continue to evolve and develop. The association of their early work with your own youth and the elegant observation of Northern youth in a modern Britain was/is wonderful, but those times change. As you get older you mature, perhaps become to cynical. Judge this album as a new piece of work, a totally different animal to one seen before and it will improve to you. Just as Humbug did, which also includes terrible tracks such as "Potion Approaching" and "Dangerous Animals." The new album is far more subtle in it's complexion, the lyrics sharper and with more applied meaning than any on Humbug. More and more listens simply improve this piece. I would hail it as their best work to date. Too many ropey, stradled tracks such as "Perhaps Vampires and Pretty Visitors may be raw and have unrivaled energy, but these qualities have been channelled into a more refined album. A more refined Arctic Monkeys.
